Mezzaluna

In Italian, "mezzaluna" means "half moon," and is reflected in the curved shape of this chopper. Its extremely sharp blades make quick work of chopping vegetables, meats, and hard cheeses, and are ideal for finely chopping leafy herbs. Hold the mezzaluna firmly by the handle or handles and, with a rolling motion, seesaw the blades over a thick slice of onion or a pile of fresh parsley. You can chop as roughly or dice as finely as you choose.
